GREEN GINGER CARDS is a 1,250 sq ft shop owned by myself, Paul.

GREEN GINGER is modern in both appearance and in the quality of our customer service. We stock an ever widening range of cards and are one of the success stories to emerge out of the recession!

Many of the cards we sell can‘t be found in the national stores because smaller manufacturers can‘t meet their order requirements. We will buy a few cards from one interesting publisher one month and from another interesting publisher the next month.

And finally, don‘t forget that we specialise in the supply of cards for those unusual occasions. There is a card for ‘Loss of your pet‘, ‘Civil ceremony wedding‘, ‘Birth of twins‘, ‘Christening of twins‘, ‘Diwalli‘, ‘Age 100‘, ‘Chinese New Year‘ and on and on...

Oh and I nearly forgot to answer the question "WHY ARE YOU CALLED GREEN GINGER?".

In the mid 1980‘s I attended HULL UNIVERSITY where I had three wonderful years. HULL as a town gets loads of bad press but so many of the people who live there or visit it just end up loving the place. The name GREEN GINGER is simply a nod to the happy memories I have of HULL and refers to THE LAND OF GREEN GINGER, which - and this really is true - is the name of an area in the middle of the town centre. It‘s part of the old town, quite small but worth a look if you ever go there.
