The Darwin Shopping Centre in Shrewsbury has had a busy and exciting year in 2022, with a wide range of events that have something for everyone. From fashion shows and character appearances, to fun trails and children’s activities, the centre has been buzzing with activity all year round.
One of the highlights of the year was the Spring Fashion Show, which saw Shrewsbury Colleges Group Fashion students model the latest trends from some of the centre’s top retailers and showcase their own coursework. The show was a huge success, with visitors stopping in their tracks to see the latest styles and get inspiration for their own wardrobes.
Another popular event was the meet and greet with Bluey and Bing, partnered with The Entertainer store there was a competition and lots of smiles on little faces when they met the popular pups from Down-Under.
We also had a several new store openings throughout the year including wilko, Shoezone and HMV as well as a selection of independent businesses such as LevelUp Escapes, Meena Beauty Salon, Bubble on Cup and DVDMegastore who have grown from strength to strength and moved to a bigger and better unit.
Overall, The Darwin Shopping Centre in Shrewsbury had a fantastic year in 2022, with a wide range of events that were enjoyed by visitors of all ages. With so much to see and do, it’s no wonder the centre has become a popular destination for shoppers and families alike.
