Hosted by the charismatic Capri Conceive, the Darwin Student Fashion Show featured talented models from the Shrewsbury College Group Fashion Course. They took to the stage, captivating the audience with their impeccable style and flair. As the models strutted their stuff, attendees couldn’t help but be inspired by the latest fashion trends displayed right before their eyes.


Retailers at The Darwin:

The fashion extravaganza brought together our numerous fashion retailers, offering attendees the chance to discover the perfect ensemble. From popular high street brands to unique boutiques, the fashion show highlighted a diverse range of options. If a particular outfit caught your eye, you can easily find it at one of the retailers within our centre!


Beyond Fashion:

The event was not just about fashion; it was an opportunity to indulge in self-care and explore new interests. Throughout the day, students provided complimentary hair and beauty treatments, allowing attendees to pamper themselves while enjoying the event. Moreover, for art enthusiasts, The Darwin presented the opportunity to purchase exquisite art pieces, ideal for gifting or adding a touch of elegance to one’s surroundings.


Embrace Learning Opportunities:

Shrewsbury Colleges Group showcased its academic course offerings, demonstrating that education and personal growth are lifelong pursuits. Visitors seeking to acquire new skills or pursue a hobby were encouraged to explore the college’s range of part-time courses.


Fashion Showcase:

The fashion show commenced with the energetic Ben, dressed in a stylish ensemble from Primark, featuring green parachute trousers, a beige linen blazer, and a pink vest top. Helen took the stage next, flaunting a white vest top, a rusty crop top, and a stunning Bohemian skirt from Portfolio in The Collective.


Mari’s appearance showcased a black and white stripe waistcoat and a striped skirt from Xadoo, available at AvantGarde. Following Mari, George rocked an outfit from M&S, sporting a beige cap, an orange jumper, a plain white tee, and orange shorts. Heidi, representing JD, wowed the audience with a green Nike jumper, a crop top, and joggers.



The fashion parade continued with Pixie, radiating elegance in a gorgeous dress from Teresa’s Boutique. Hannah exuded style in an ensemble from New Look, featuring a green T-shirt, a denim jacket, and ankle grazers jeans. Ben returned to the stage, this time donning a white Nike T-shirt and blue Nike shorts.


Brianne closed the first segment with a chic outfit from SheLoved PreLoved, donning a Brave soul white tee and a Couture Club distressed denim jacket. The second segment featured equally stunning outfits, including a yellow short-sleeve shirt, striped T-shirt, flowered beach shorts, and a grey hoodie worn by Ben from Primark.

Exciting  Discounts:

While the models left the audience in awe, The Darwin added an extra layer of excitement with numerous discounts. Throughout the day, participating stores offered exclusive discounts, providing shoppers with the perfect opportunity to embrace their favorite fashion pieces.
