In celebration of the national Big Garden Birdwatch, Shropshire Wildlife Trust will be running FREE workshops for families to attend between 11am – 4pm on 5th and 6th February opposite the Collective,

on the Lower Level of The Darwin.

These workshops will help children and adults understand how to connect with birds in all outside environments. Visitors will be able to make fat ball feeders to take away – all ingredients will be supplied for no cost, but donations will be welcome.

There will also be lots of handouts and fact sheets available with hints and tips for encouraging birds in your garden. They’ll also be running a colouring competition for youngsters, which will be free to enter and entrants can win a copy of Usborne’s Big Spotter’s Guide to Nature.

The workshops will run as drop-in sessions, so just come along and see us when you are free.
