Shropshire Council is pleased to announce that independent store Rob Buckley Cycle Shop, which was previously located in the Riverside centre, has moved to the middle of the Darwin centre, opening on 1 May.
Rob Buckley Cycle Shop will operate amongst national and independent brands, in a prominent location opposite M&S. The Darwin centre is celebrated for having a vast independent offer, which sits seamlessly alongside well-known brands. This has helped establish the centre as Shrewsbury’s premier covered shopping destination. This new store is bright, warm and welcoming, with products well spread throughout, making it simple for shoppers to browse and purchase.
This will be Rob’s seventh shop in the town, following 35 years in the retail industry, and he is still selling a lot of the brands he started selling from his very first store. The current store sells Claud Butler and Raleigh bikes and all their necessary accessories. The store also sells superlight Squish Bikes, which are the most affordable on the market. They also maintain bikes, and offer a full range of cleaning products, inner tube pumps and wheels plus WD40 products. Cycle helmets, locks, touring bags and other accessories will also be sold at the store. The centre has a no cycling policy within the centre, so bikes being taken to the store need to be walked through the centre.
