Join our Student Takeover and Unisex Fashion event at The Darwin in Shrewsbury on Saturday 13th May between 11:00 and 15:00, in partnership with the Shrewsbury Colleges Group.
There will be four student fashion showcases, highlighting a selection of unisex fashion trends from stores at The Darwin.
Expect to see summer styles modelled by students from Primark, JD, M&S, New Look, Skechers, as well as Teresa’s Boutique, SheLoved PreLoved and Avant Garde.
Fashion showcases will be held on the Lower Level outside wilko and The Collective at 11:30, 12:30, 13:30 and 14:30.
Free hair and beauty treatments will be offered to members of the public by the college’s students on the Lower Level near the lifts. So if you fancy a hand massage or mini manicure, they’re on hand to brighten up your day.
Free food! Enjoy delicious treats prepared by the creative catering team from the award-winning Origins restaurant that they learn to prepare on their courses.
Free photoshoot? Photography students will be available to take stunning studio portraits of families, or professional headshots for work and socials such as LinkedIn. Find them on the Upper Level near Costa.
College Art and Fashion shop – Students will be selling their fantastic artwork and creations from the past year’s work. Come along a pick up a unique and handcrafted piece for the home.
The Higher Education team will be on hand to provide information on the range of degree-level courses on offer at the London Road Campus. Find them on the Upper Level near Clarks.
Also on the Upper Level, the college will also be providing information on their Distance Learning courses, these courses are perfect if you are looking to study in your own time or around commitments. Plus, the Admissions team will be there providing information on their 16-18 vocational and academic courses. There is still time to apply to the college ready for our September intake!
There will be an info stand on the college’s hobby and professional part-time courses. Ideal if you are looking to learn a new skill or advance your career.
